Ask your AI assistant what's on your network
The Scanopy MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients to your Scanopy inventory. They answer from the hosts, services, subnets and topology Scanopy has discovered, and chain the lookups a question needs in one reply.
Get early accessAnswer complex questions about your network
Builds on global search by combining lookups: it filters by subnet, port and service, follows each host to its interfaces and services, and summarizes what it found.
- Which hosts on 10.22.64.0/24 run SSH, and what else runs on them?
- Whose MAC is 3c:22:fb:91:0e:4a, and what services does it run?
Trace what depends on what
Reads LLDP and CDP neighbours, which services run on which hosts, and the dependencies you've mapped.
- What's downstream of core-sw-01?
- What stops working if pve-02 goes down?
Write the documentation
Writes docs, runbooks and handover notes from your inventory, with topology diagrams in the format your docs use.
- Write a handover doc for the Denver site: each switch and its uplinks, the VLANs and subnets, the servers and what runs on them, and an L2 diagram.
Answer audit questions
Builds the asset lists and exposure reports auditors ask for, from what discovery found.
- Give me an asset inventory for the ISO 27001 audit, grouped by site.
- List every device on the payment VLAN and what it exposes.
- Which hosts run Telnet, FTP or RDP?
Deploy Scanopy to a new site
Works out where daemons need to sit for Layer 2 coverage of each segment and which credentials unlock your switches, controllers and hypervisors. Then it creates those credentials, provisions the daemons and starts discovery.
- We're adding the Denver office: a UniFi controller, a Proxmox host and three segments. Set it up.
Your API key sets the scope
The server authenticates with a Scanopy user API key. The assistant sees only the networks that key can see and does only what the key's role allows.
Secrets stay out of the chat
It never returns credential secrets or a daemon key to the model.
Cloud or self-hosted
It runs on your Scanopy server. Add the server's MCP URL and an API key to Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client that takes a URL and a header.
Hear when it opens
